National Three Peaks Challenge Wall Map Set

£119.00

The National Three Peaks Challenge Wall Map Set features three 15cm square maps showing the highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales. Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon are carved from solid maple and engraved with a sharp, clean map design including the walking route normally used for the challenge. The set can be personalised with the details of someone’s particular attempt, including the name, date and time taken. This will be engraved onto the side of the Ben Nevis map.

We use FSC certified staved maple, formed from several solid pieces. The maple is carved to shape based on Ordnance Survey height data. The maps are also based on OS data and are engraved onto the shaped surface. The maps are carefully finished with a natural blend of oils and waxes.

The aim of the National Three Peak Challenge is to climb all three of these mountains in 24 hours, taking on any weather conditions and even hiking in the dark! The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) – twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
